God cares about your eternal destiny. Know that God loves you and He has a great plan for your life!
If today were your last day here on earth, do you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you would go to Heaven? Many times when this question is asked, the response is "I am a good person and there is no way to know for sure." But the good news is that there is a way to know for sure and it is not through our good deeds. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8 The Bible reads, “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” And “for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The Bible reads, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Acts 2:21"
The basis of the Salvation Prayer comes from Romans 10:9-10.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
If you would like to receive the gift that God has for you by asking Jesus Christ to come into your heart, say this with all your heart - out loud - right now.
SALVATION PRAYER
"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless.
I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. Please Jesus forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to be my Father and my friend.I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ." Amen.
If you just said this prayer and you meant it with all your heart, I believe that you just got saved and are born again. You may ask, "Now that I am saved, what's next?". First of all you need to get into a bible-based church, and study God's Word. Once you have found a church home, you will want to become water-baptized. By accepting Christ you are baptized in the spirit, but it is through water-baptism that you show your obedience to the Lord. Water baptism is a symbol of your salvation from the dead. You were dead but now you live, for the Lord Jesus Christ has redeemed you for a price! The price was His death on the cross. May God Bless You!
